Big Meaning, Inc. is a privately held corporation in Kansas. It started as Midwest Acceptance in 1992, which was formed with the intent of making a profit and then giving the money away.

Big Meaning, Inc. continues the heritage of investing its profit into Christ-centered ministry efforts in the United States and abroad. In 2008, about 30% of the profits from business operations were given to help organizations that restore hope, feed the hungry, support troubled marriages, help suicidal youth and meet the needs of the sick. The common thread in all of these efforts is that those who perform them are respected Christian men and women and that the tasks are done in the name and for the sake of Jesus. Recently, Big Meaning, Inc. expanded its reach by partnering with indigenous African national leadership to promote Making It Count by financing and supporting seminars and trainings in an attempt to promote the book as well as to change the business and social environment in the Central African Republic.

Big Meaning, Inc. operates in two sectors:

The first sector is the Information Technology sector. Since 1984, the president and founder of Big Meaning, Inc. has worked in the computer services and support industry. Bryan Hurlbut and his staff supply engineering, management, support, custom programming and training to existing businesses through out their home office region. This embrace of technology is expanding to the SMS market where clients will better be able to communicate to their constituents and patrons.

The second area is that of training, education and challenge in the church and the workplace. In May of 2008, Big Meaning released the book Making It Count to the public. The intent of the book is to challenge its reader to alter his or her mindset and to return to a value that holds others as not only better than themselves but as valuable assets that can be squandered and lost. This portion of Big Meaning, Inc. desires to see change in every person's core makeup both in the United States and overseas.

Big Meaning, Inc. is a for profit corporation.
